Hey there, I’m Colleen.

For the past 7 years, I’ve implemented marketing strategies for both B2B and B2C businesses. I‘ve worked with internationally recognized brands and nonprofits to small businesses who serve regional clients. With a background in corporate merchandising, I apply the same knowledge and analytics to marketing and web design. My goal is to help more people become wealthy doing what they love.

A little background of how I got where I am today…

After studying Fashion Merchandising at the University of Georgia, I put my degree into practice with children's clothing at Carter's corporate office. Wanting to work with different industries, I brought my love for analytics and merchandising strategies into social media. Managing the social media for six national brands allowed me to understand the importance of effective marketing to achieve a goal and creating content that speaks directly to the customer.

After a few years, my brother came to me about needing help with his company, Water’s Edge Woods. To describe it then, it was a sawmill that turned logs into timber, a lumberyard for local woodworkers, and a wood shop that made furniture, flooring...and lots of other stuff using cool wood...but, not even his wife could describe it.

Needless to say, there was a lot going on and a lot of confusion on how to describe it all.

To help bring clarity to his marketing and learn how he could reach new customers, Andrew attended a StoryBrand workshop in Nashville.  It was amazing! BUT, returning home he couldn’t find the time to execute on all the great strategies he learned. He pitched the idea for me to take a chance on small hipneck (hippie + redneck) lumberyard after working in marketing and social media with large international brands. Within a couple months, Water’s Edge Woods marketing was clear, a new website had been built, a showroom was opened, and sales had increased.  Friends in the community took notice and started asking for help with their businesses. It was so much fun putting my experience to work, I happily agreed. Before I knew it, I had business in my hands.

Now it’s your turn! Let’s stop the spinning wheels and start making marketing decisions that are effective and goal oriented. You’ve worked hard to master a skill and you have a unique way to serve customers. I would love to chat with you on how we can begin the process to clarify your craft and grow your business!
